The Streets at SouthGlenn
Project Type: Mixed-Use, Redevelopment
Location: Centennial, CO
Services Provided: Planning, Entitlements, Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying

The Streets at SouthGlenn is an 80-acre redevelopment project located at the site of the former Southglenn Mall in Centennial, Colorado. This regional urban lifestyle center features a natural grocer, cafés, retailers, and multi-family housing. CLC provided planning, entitlements, architecture, civil engineering, and land surveying for portions this $230 million project and incorporated careful phasing strategies to keep major anchor tenants open and accessible during construction.

The original Southglenn Mall was designed with little or no storm drainage infrastructure. CLC worked closely with the developer and local municipalities to create a stormwater solution that was cost-effective while still meeting the requirements of the city and surrounding community. The solution was an underground chamber facility that appropriately suited the needs of all parties involved. CLC’s unique engineering solution has been featured in the Colorado Public Works Journal.

CLC also provided extensive land surveying services including title review, boundary analysis of more than six previous subdivision plats, easement depiction, existing utility research and topography and construction staking. Upon completion of construction, CLC created record drawings for the sanitary and storm sewer systems as required by the governing jurisdictions and a post construction ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey.
